Review - "We had low expectations for anyplace in the middle of Alaska, and we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was clean, the proprieters were friendly, and the breakfast was good. They even had adorable huskie puppies for sale while we were there. It's a great place to stay. It was charming and cozy."

Review - "I started staying at the Regency Hotel on my monthly business trips to Fairbanks over six years ago. I chose it initially because of its convenient location in relation to my business. It soon became apparent that my choice was more than location. Your helpful and friendly staff have become more like an extension of my home when I am traveling. There have been several times when I have needed extra furniture in the room for business reasons. The staff have always responded quickly and courteously in providing the needed help. I am also very please with the availability of the Alaska Athletic Club so I can continue my work-out regiment while I am on the road"

The next door Caribou restaurant was convenient and sure put out some fine, filling meals. Review - "Most Alaska RV parks are barren parking lots. Bear Paw had an "adults only" campground with trees right on Prince William Sound. There was a very clean laundry room with four private lavs with showers and unlimited hot water."

Review - "Valdez B&B is not receiving their proper due credit here. As a life long Alaskan who has spent time in about every hotel/motel in the area I select the Valdez B&B over all the other places to stay in Valdez. I go back to 1952. Over the last decade or so I have had nothing but positive experiences with this B&B. The reason I am familiar with places to stay in Valdez is because it is one of two closest supply areas for me during the summer season which I spend in the Wrangell Mountains. In case you doubt my creditability, at least as far as connections with this enterprise go, I know nothing about the owners other than to have met the old boy who owns the joint on a number of my visits."

Review - "The room was clean and in good repair. The bed was great and I slept very well. There was a little fridge, microwave, coffee maker, clothes closet, desk, tv, phone. An ice machine in the laundry room was very convenient for filling the cooler."

Review - "I enjoyed my stay at the Driftwood Lodge. The room was clean and inexpensive. The room smelled really old, but not too much to handle. Their staff was really wonderful. Helpful and friendly. When I missed my flight, they came back to the airport to get me and brought me back for my later flight. That really made my day! I recommend the Driftwood, especially if you're on a budget."

Review - "My husband, our two boys, and I stayed in the new, two story, section of the hotel and it was great. What I liked was that it was located very close to all of the restaurants and shops at the harbor but it was down the street so that it still felt pretty private."

Review - "It was my first ever experience to live i lonely jungle cabin, with all the emnities and hot pool in the balcony, and game room, with 5 TV sets, 3 bed room, Pool Table, everything, kitchen ready to cook. Maps given by owner is also so perfect it will reach u cabin without any trouble, but without MAP, it is just immpossible to reach cabin even in day light."

Review - "I stayed one night here with my boyfriend and our friend (who had never been to banff before). Very, very basic accommodations but the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. We had a family room (king sized bed and two singles) and we could have easily brought another person. Great location - right on Banff Ave so great access to restaurants, bars, shops and the bus stops right outside. If you rely on hotels to provide entertainment and dining this place might not be the best choice, but for anyone coming up for the weekend or passing through this is a clean and affordable hotel. Overall a comfortable spot to come crash after enjoying local sights and entertainment."

Review - "We stayed in the "Chardonnay" suite at this B&B for a couple nights to visit wineries in town. The suite is one of two that are located in the lower floor of what appeared to be the proprietor's house. We are frequent travellers and have stayed at B&Bs in places like Napa/Sonoma and Bath and this suite was hands-down the best B&B suite that we've ever stayed in. You get much more than a room and breakfast here. It is more like a luxurious, modern condo, complete with full kitchen, washer and dryer, two gorgeous bedrooms (we only used the one), bathroom (with great bath products), full living room with large flat screen TV and fireplace, free wireless and wood floors throughout."

Our room, more accurately suite, was spacious, highly comfortable, appointed with great attention to detail, and largely self-contained. The hostess, Louise, is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and her breakfasts are wicked. The breakfast-time conversations with her and other guests were memorably convivial and informative. This is a great and most relaxing place to stay."

Review - "Booked 3 rooms for 3 couples and were reasonably priced. Rooms were very large with new 40" LCD flat screens; high-speed wireless internet worked great. Rooms were clean and appeared to be newly renovated. In hotel restaurant was a little pricey but food was very good. Would definitely stay there again."
